Features

  • Interactive PAN: pan with a left-drag — no middle mouse button needed.
  • Typed command lines & interactive UCS: type whole command lines with spaces (unified with the headless path), run UCS Z 90 typed anywhere, and answer interactive value prompts for PDMODE / PDSIZE / LTSCALE / CELTSCALE (#169).
  • ViewCube: a compass ring with cardinal directions and navigation controls, with the face names painted onto the cube itself.
  • Lineweight legibility: model-space lineweight display is boosted so thin lines read clearly on screen (#147).
  • Save dialog: navigate to other drives, including on macOS and Linux (#170).

Fixes

  • TRIM circles: clicking a circle in TRIM now cuts it into an arc (it was silently ignored); the arc/circle trim preview is drawn in the correct plane (#184).
  • Command preview always on top: live command-preview wires are never hidden behind occluding geometry, for every command.
  • Dimensions survive in other CAD: an anonymous *D geometry block is baked for each dimension on save, so DWG TrueView, QCAD and BricsCAD open and place them correctly (#178, #181, #182); COPY now duplicates that baked block too (#161).
  • Text: TTF glyphs render as solid fills, with font fallback and corrected Z-order (#180).
  • ViewCube: face clicks always land upright, never upside-down.
  • Dimensions: diameter text renders and point markers are smaller (#139); DIMCONTINUE chains stay collinear with the base (#151); aligned/ordinate placement and preview plane corrected (#150).
  • ROTATE: a typed angle applies right after the centre is picked (#159).
  • PDF export: linetypes and true lineweights are exported (#155).
  • Linetypes: dotted and dash-dot patterns render (#149).
  • OSNAP: snaps to an arc/circle centre when hovering the curve (#152).
  • Hatch: all island loops are preserved in complex hatches (#148).
  • OFFSET: the offset side is chosen by containment for closed polylines.
  • Layout / viewport: the camera centres on the sheet when a layout first opens; a new paper-space viewport border shows without a zoom; paper viewports frame on a robust cluster centre.
  • Scale list: the default scale list is restored when a drawing has none (#154).
  • Ribbon: annotate style dropdowns float so they aren't clipped (#153).
  • Web: the wasm build is restored (native-only deps gated off wasm) and the OSNAP tooltip caret renders as SVG, not a tofu glyph (#138).
  • XCLIP: clipped hatch loops stay in world_origin-relative space.

Chore

  • Plugins: out-of-process host moved to double precision with shared-memory IPC, faster shutdown, backward-compatibility and a plugin-template-v2; plugin pick coordinates are f64 and the lifecycle is hardened.
  • Dependencies: bump acadrust to 0.4 (plotstyle/material common-entity ordering plus in-flight DWG reader work), the SORTENTSTABLE draw-order fix (#146) and the twist-aware VPort view fix.
