Allow a 1e-4 absolute tolerance for sampled in-mask values while preserving the existing relative tolerance and exact outside-mask enforcement. Add regression coverage for scaled-int16 float conversion noise and meaningful corruption.
Update the generated Rd usage and arguments for the new absolute_tolerance parameter, resolving the cross-platform R CMD check codoc mismatch.
