Breaking Changes

  • Redundant drawable preparation aliases were removed in favor of canonical operations.
  • Drawable bone bindings made from bone objects or names store skeleton indices; numeric palettes resolve indices before tags.
  • Assigning YdrSkeleton.bones copies the collection while sharing bone objects; edit skeleton.bones rather than the original list to change membership or order.

Added

  • CUT project builds, validation and exports accept a shared progress/cancellation operation, including YCD clip, track and sequence work.
  • CUT project authoring accepts typed facial tracks for merged body-and-face and facial-only ped animations, with matching runtime bindings across technical sections.
  • Uncompressed YTD section preparation for embedding texture dictionaries in drawable resources.

Changed

  • Drawable models and preparation are organized into focused modules for skeletons, materials, geometry, lights, painting and vertex data.

Fixed

  • Multi-file CUT saves prepare outputs before replacement, preserve existing files on cancellation and roll back replacements if a write fails.
  • Normalizing drawable root bones preserves mesh weights when a bone tag overlaps a skeleton index.
  • Drawable mesh splitting preserves generated normals and tangents at shared vertices in Legacy and Enhanced.
  • Optional empty vertex and UV channels are treated as absent during splitting; nonempty channel length mismatches fail before generation or remapping.
  • Radial bone rigging uses composed object-space bind centers, resolves the pose once per operation, and preserves rigid-model placement when converting to skinning.
  • Radial palettes prefer skeleton indices over ambiguous tags; decoded static vertex declarations retain newly authored skin channels on write.
  • Skeleton lookups track direct bone edits and list mutations, including shared bones and duplicate keys, without rescanning unchanged collections or rebuilding after each append.

Performance

  • Up to 2.9x faster YDR, YDD, and YFT builds with embedded textures, eliminating intermediate texture compression and repeated preparation.
