🎵 Music & Spotify Integration

  • Spotify Playback Pairing: Seamlessly pair Spotify playback while allowing browsing directly through the listener's own application.
  • Audio Visualizer & Metering: Real-time Spotify audio output metering integrated into the visualizer, signal levels, and Miku companion. The meter is now aligned with the audible clock and volume slider.
  • Audio Quality Indicator: Real-time badge reporting current Spotify streaming quality.
  • Playlist Management:
    • Pin favorite playlists to the Home screen and open them directly from the pinned row.
    • Added playlist details editor dialog for Harbor and Spotify.
    • Expanded add-to-playlist dialog into a spacious cover grid.
    • Added context menus across playlists ("Jump back in", "Made for you", "Recents", and track actions).
    • Preserved tracklist scroll position when navigating playlists with over 100 songs.
  • Queue & Playback Improvements:
    • Faster transition times when advancing to queued tracks.
    • Resilient resume checkpoints that remember the correct track even after queue modifications or application restarts.
    • Retained Previous and Next track controls on the collapsed player bar.
    • Added direct audio settings shortcut to the Music page toolbar.

🎬 Video Player & Playback

  • Chapter Navigation & Timeline Markers: Added dedicated chapter selection menus and timeline markers to desktop playback.
  • Precise A/B Looping: Exact position tracking when marking and toggling A/B loop points.
  • Audio Device Stability:
    • Guarded audio output reloads against background device-list churn and session adoptions.
    • Deferred audio recovery until playback actively resumes.
    • Re-synchronized Dynamic Audio Normalizer (dynaudnorm) cleanly after device reloads.
  • Live Broadcast Handling: Distinctly separates indexed media files from live broadcasts, carrying the live stream flag across in-place stream switches.
  • Scrubber Hover Preview: Fixed the timeline hover thumbnail preview from sticking after cursor exit.
  • Cast Tab Isolation: Prevented opening the Cast library panel from overwriting the user's active library tab.

🎌 Anime & Metadata

  • Split-Cour & Sequel Resolution:
    • Automatically resolves aired sequel cours in Continue Watching and routes progress to the correct airing season across Simkl, AniList, and MyAnimeList.
    • Added an option to prioritize IMDb IDs when matching anime entries.
    • Prevents unaired sequel-cour episodes from borrowing metadata from preceding seasons.
    • Resolves shared IMDb and TMDB identifiers to their first cour.
  • Titles & Language Preferences:
    • Automatically fills missing episode titles using MyAnimeList and resolves Romaji titles from Kitsu.
    • Strictly preserves user-configured episode title language preferences over foreign scripts.
  • Episode Search & Navigation:
    • Search TMDB episode titles across all seasons directly from the detail view.
    • Restores the viewed season after navigating episodes.
    • Replaced cached placeholder episode records with real aired metadata.
  • Anime4K Pipeline: Complete, verifiable Anime4K shader chain with automatic recovery for failed probes.
  • Calendar & Franchise Deduplication: Dropped duplicate rows and merged seasons from the Release Calendar while preserving locally tracked anime.

🔄 Tracking & Scrobbling (PublicMetaDB, AniList, MAL, Simkl, Trakt)

  • PublicMetaDB (PMDB) Integration:
    • Full integration of PublicMetaDB watchlist into the Overview page and Library.
    • Integrated PMDB watch history with the Home screen's "Hide Watched" filter.
    • Added durable resume outbox to guarantee watch state is preserved across app closures.
    • Added PMDB status badge to Continue Watching cards.
    • Added client-side watch history filtering and anime episode mapping.
  • Rewatch Counting:
    • Added dedicated rewatch sync toggles for AniList and MyAnimeList (MAL).
    • Accurately tracks completed rewatches without counting first-watch series finales as rewatches.
  • Custom Lists & Privacy: Full support for AniList custom lists and private entries in the Library and anime rows.
  • Tracker Reliability:
    • Unified tracker sessions across profiles while preserving individual profile settings.
    • Automatically retries queued scrobbles without waiting for an application restart.
    • Fixed Trakt token refresh behind proxy configurations.
    • Fixed Simkl queue replays inadvertently re-marking unmarked items.

🖥️ Media Servers (Jellyfin, Emby, Plex)

  • Server Collections: Natively browse media server collections directly within Harbor.
  • Custom Sync Scheduling: Configurable sync refresh intervals in minutes, hours, days, or weeks (including a daily sync preset).
  • Sync & Library Performance:
    • Parallelized Jellyfin sync page requests with expanded batch sizes for faster library synchronization.
    • Progressive library grid and poster rendering, preventing UI flicker or empty collections during active syncs.
    • Prioritizes server-provided posters with automatic fallback to TMDB.
    • Added dismiss option for the "Titles Need Review" banner.
    • Hardened Authorization header authentication and connection failure reporting.

☁️ TorBox & Cloud Library

  • Private Cloud Playback: Added direct browsing and playback for personal TorBox cloud storage.
  • Download Indicators: Added active playback spinner for single-file TorBox downloads.
  • Cleanup: Removed deprecated background queries for retired TorBox and local file addons.

📖 Manga & Extensions

  • Extensions Layout: Manga extensions now match the plugins tab layout and maintain search order.
  • Source Filtering: Persisted chapter source filters with smart default to the owning source.
  • Clean Title Matching: Stripped redundant color-edition tags from manga titles for cleaner tracking and Discord presence.
  • Favorite Resolution: Automatically re-resolves stale favorite entries to ensure mismatched chapters never open.

💬 Subtitles & Addons

  • Subtitle Priority & Addons:
    • Prevented autoloaded external subtitles from overriding user-selected embedded subtitle tracks.
    • Subtitles can now be served directly from trusted local addons.
    • Preserved explicit manual "Subtitles Off" preferences when translating-addons finish processing.
    • Fixed long generated translation subtitle offers being omitted from addon results.
  • Addon Connectivity: Added browser fallback when an external addon setup page fails to connect.

🏠 Home & UI Experience

  • Hide Watched in Featured Hero: Option to hide watched titles from the featured Hero banner, with seamless same-row backfilling.
  • Hero Trailer Playback: Restored reliable autoplay for video and audio trailers across Hero views, along with customizable trailer resolution settings.
  • Search Usability:
    • Restores search result scroll position when returning from item detail views.
    • Retains multi-source AIOMetadata results during catalog and group merges.
  • Continue Watching Formatting: Normalized Continue Watching episode labels to standard S# E# format.
  • Responsive Menus: Dynamically sized context menus to match their longest option cleanly.
  • Letterboxd: Prevented friend review requests from opening unnecessary source-check windows.

🎮 Discord Rich Presence

  • Music Presence: Real-time Discord presence updates without duplicate credits; automatically hides presence shortly after pausing.
  • Anime & Episode Details: Displays actual episode titles and preferred localized anime titles in rich presence.
  • Accurate Timestamps: Corrected playback timeline timestamps when resuming or seeking.
  • Manga Presence: Shows real manga cover art for local and extension sources, with improved title disambiguation.
  • Community Endpoints: Updated rich presence links to point to official Harbor community base URLs.

⚙️ Installer & Platform Stability

  • Harbor Shipyard:
    • Re-architected setup into "Harbor Shipyard", enabling optional feature selection during installation.
    • Added ability to modify installed components directly from Settings.
    • Enlarged and streamlined the installer component selection area.
    • Rotated application update signing infrastructure to a modern Minisign key.
  • macOS:
    • Fixed application launch crash by properly bundling the staged libmpv closure and verifying release builds.
    • Updated macOS FFmpeg/FFprobe download logic to use the Evermeet info API.
  • Linux: Restored native file dialog support for restoring .harbx backup archives, and resolved build dependencies for extension tools.
