Changes

  • Align package metadata at 0.2.1.
  • Clarify that discovery records declared capabilities; optional explicit probes can launch configured tool processes.
  • Provide Bash and PowerShell installation recipes that verify the exact wheel and source archive entries and hashes before invoking pip.
  • Add executable recipe regressions for missing, invalid, duplicate and unexpected checksum entries.

Install the attached wheel after checking SHA256SUMS.txt. Publication remains on the GitHub-asset track; this release does not publish to PyPI.

Validation and limits

Fresh installed acceptance covered CLI discovery/validation and MCP behavior outside the checkout. Recipe tests use mocked downloaders and installers. Declared integration edges are not evidence of live integration; no live external-tool acceptance is claimed.
