Git Graph UI v1.0.3
Free desktop Git client for Windows. Everything runs locally — your repos stay on your machine.
Repository tab — the open repo now sits in a proper tab bar across the top: the folder button and repo name form one tab flush against the top, bottom, and left edges, with the bar behind it in a lighter grey so the tab reads as active. The folder button carries a permanent fill and opens a different repository.
Header — repository and branch are shown as a repository › branch breadcrumb with the ahead/behind counters beside the branch. The branch name is plain text now — no caret, no dropdown; check out a branch from its More actions menu in the branch sidebar.
Branch sidebar — grouped branches use folder icons that open and close with the group, branch counts sit next to the folder name, and the current branch is marked with a dot instead of a glyph. Hovering a group shows how many branches it holds; hovering a branch shows its full name.
Graph tooltips — branch labels lead with the branch name, so a fully synced branch no longer shows a bare hint with no context.
Close buttons — every dialog (commit detail, confirm, conflict resolver, diff viewer, file diff, folder browser, SSH key picker, push reject, WIP panel) uses the same close control, with matching size, hit area, and hover feedback.
Git Graph UI v1.0.2
Free desktop Git client for Windows. Everything runs locally — your repos stay on your machine.
SSH key for remotes — fetch, pull, and push use the key you Apply in the SSH picker. The choice is saved and restored on the next launch. Default key uses your SSH agent and ~/.ssh/config.
SSH Test — Test runs ssh -i <selected-key> -T against the matching host (GitLab key → GitLab, GitHub repo → GitHub). Windows paths to keys like id_rsa are passed correctly. Success still shows the host’s own message (for example GitHub’s “does not provide shell access” line).
Toolbar & graph — spinner on the action you clicked; Stash disabled when the tree is clean; double-click a branch to check it out; drag another branch onto ✓ current to merge. Product tour includes a drag-to-merge demo.
Git Graph UI v1.0.1
Free desktop Git client for Windows. Everything runs locally — your repos stay on your machine.
Product tour — guided walkthrough of the commit graph, search, open repo, SSH key, fetch, pull, and push. Spotlight highlights each control; runs once on first launch; replay anytime from the Tour button in the header.
Repository switching — full-screen loader when opening or switching repos, matching startup, so stale graph and status data clears before the new repo loads.
Open Repository dialog — clearer git folders (branch badge on the icon, “Git repository” label, Open on hover); back button beside the path bar; browse-inside arrow with active styling and rounded hover; fixed Open/Browse column alignment; restored path bar height.
Header & dialogs — unified rounded chip buttons for Open, Tour, theme, and SSH; Fetch/Pull/Push, Undo, Stash, and Pop keep a compact vertical layout; consistent button styling across conflict, push-reject, and folder dialogs.
Git Graph UI v1.0.0
Free desktop Git client for Windows. Everything runs locally — your repos stay on your machine.
Git graph — visual commit tree with branch lanes, live refresh, remote sync labels (ahead/behind/in sync), cherry-pick, revert, and branch actions from the graph.
Staging & commit — stage, unstage, discard files; discard-all with confirmation; Ctrl+Enter to commit.
Diff viewer — side-by-side hunks or full file, intra-line highlights, minimap, horizontal scroll.
Conflicts — Ours vs Theirs resolver; labels merge conflicts vs restored parked changes; reliable detection after pull.
Branches — checkout, create, delete, merge, rebase, reset. Drag-and-drop merge on the graph (merge, no-FF, rebase, FF-only).
Pull / merge / rebase with uncommitted work — changes are parked automatically and restored when done. Clashing new local files on pull are saved aside with a clear path.
Remotes — fetch, pull, push, stash. Push-rejected dialog: pull & rebase, pull & merge, force-with-lease, or hard force (with confirmations).
Stash — reminders to keep or discard parked work (per repo); safe discard when stash is the only copy.
Other — abort merge/rebase/cherry-pick; 8 themes; zoom shortcuts; SSH key picker; auto-update from GitHub releases.
