Setup

1. Clone & Install

git clone <repo>
cd redditOSITN
pip install -r requirements.txt

2. Configure Environment

cp .env.example .env
# Edit .env with your tokens

You'll need:

• A Discord Bot Token
• Reddit API credentials from reddit.com/prefs/apps (for fallback)
• An OpenAI API key (for AI analysis features)

3. Invite the Bot

Use the Discord Developer Portal to generate an invite URL with:

• bot scope
• applications.commands scope
• Permissions: Send Messages, Embed Links, Read Message History

4. Run

python -m bot.main
