Mactivate 1.0.0 introduces sensor-driven palm-rest gestures and a Notch Panel for Apple Silicon MacBooks.

Palm-rest gestures

  • Calibrate left and right palm-rest taps to the device and user.
  • Assign separate actions to left/right double and triple taps.
  • Launch applications, open web addresses, run Shortcuts, or reveal the Notch Panel.

Notch Panel

  • Reveal a four-action control surface near the MacBook notch.
  • Configure each slot through the native Configuration Window.
  • Use ambient-light sensing for hands-free Notch Hover.

Download Mactivate-1.0.0.dmg from the assets below and drag Mactivate into Applications.

Security notice

Mactivate is distributed with ad-hoc signing and is not Apple-notarized. macOS may require approval under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway after the first launch.

Do not disable Gatekeeper.
