🎉 Trash 1.0.0 – POSIX-Compliant, Login-Ready Trash™

After countless hours of duct tape, spaghetti logic, and pure shell sorcery, we’re thrilled (and slightly terrified) to announce the 1.0.0 release of Trash – your new favorite misfit shell.

🔥 What's new in 1.0.0?

• POSIX Compliance (mostly): That’s right. Trash now speaks the language of standards. Scripts won’t randomly explode—unless you ask them to.
• Login Shell Support: Trash can now officially be used as your login shell. (Atleast tested on Ubuntu). Just add it to /etc/shells and run chsh -s $(which trash) if you're brave enough.
• Big milestone: This marks the first version I consider feature-complete enough to be called 1.0.0. It can be your daily shell. But right now I wouldn't recommend it. It lacks some nice usability features. It might even behave. Maybe.

💬 Should this be 1.0.0?

I argued about this with myself in front of the mirror. A lot. But:

• It runs.
• It's stable-ish.
• You can exec trash -l and live inside it.
• And hey—it's POSIX-compliant now!

So yeah. It's 1.0.0. 🎂

TRASh 0.1.0

Release 0.1.0

This is the initial release of the Totally Random and Aimless Shell (TRASH). It includes the basic functionality of a Unix shell with several built-in commands such as cd, exit, pwd, echo, type, thx, and cls. The shell supports command parsing with quoted strings and provides a customizable prompt displaying the user, working directory, and Git branch. The project structure and initial setup are also included, along with the GNU General Public License v3.0 License.
