Changes

  • The failsafe corner is now the top-left of the primary monitor only. The trigger
zone had no lower bound, so on multi-monitor setups with a monitor left of or above
the primary, the zone silently expanded into a full-height/width band (or the whole
monitor) — parking the cursor on a title bar could kill the server. Negative
virtual-screen coordinates no longer trigger the stop. If the cursor dwells in an
area that used to trigger it, a one-time notification explains where the real
    corner is.
  • The emergency stop only exits the server while a tool call is running. When the
server is idle it now stays up and refuses new tool calls until the cursor leaves the
corner, instead of tearing down the whole MCP session (stdio cannot reconnect).
Background credential autofill (key_locker) is cancelled before any of its dialogs
open; it does not pick up again by itself, so move the cursor away from the corner
    and run the command again.
  • A stop is no longer silent. Every trigger writes a diagnostic log entry with the
cursor coordinates. A Windows balloon appears when the server exits, when a tool call
is refused, and — in the rare case where the running call finished first and the exit
was stood down — as a follow-up that corrects the earlier one. Arming the stop while
nothing is running is recorded in the log only, so resting the cursor in the corner
    does not spam notifications.
  • Long balloon notifications no longer end mid-word. Windows caps a balloon tip at 255
characters of body and 63 of title, and silently drops everything past that — so a long
notification_show message simply stopped, with no sign it had been cut. Over-long text is
now shortened with a trailing "…" so you can tell something was left out, and the failsafe's
own notifications were rewritten to fit.
  • Docs: the failsafe was still described as "immediately terminate" from the pre-1.7.2
era; README (en/ja), SECURITY.md and the MCP server instructions now describe the
    500ms dwell, the primary-monitor corner, and DESKTOP_TOUCH_FAILSAFE_HOLD_MS.

Nothing to configure: no new environment variables; defaults are unchanged
(10px corner, 500ms dwell).
