ForgeChat Desktop v3.10.0
Fixes a blank/grey window on launch reported on a fresh machine.
Root cause (two related but distinct triggers):
- The portable exe never installs anything: if the WebView2 Runtime isn't
already present on the machine, Tauri creates the native window but never
populates it (grey/blank, no error, no crash). The app now detects this
before starting and shows a native message box pointing to the WebView2
installer instead of silently doing nothing. - Separately, killing the app process (Task Manager, forced shutdown) rather
than quitting via the tray icon can leave a stale WebView2 profile that
also renders blank on the next launch. If you hit a blank window: quit
ForgeChat completely (tray icon -> Quitter), delete
%LOCALAPPDATA%\org.heiphaistos.forgechat, then relaunch.
The NSIS installer now also auto-provisions the WebView2 Runtime on install
if it's missing (embedded bootstrapper), so a fresh install should never hit
this at all.
