How to remove/override special keys in a custom layout?

Hello, I have just discovered this project and I want to try to make a new layout.

I read the Layout wiki and found the azerty json file which helps me to get the basics, but I'm surprised it doesn't contain any special keys, such as shift, numbers, space, backspace, and enter.

Is it possible to configure those in order to change their position and size?

I understand that Special labels are used to add those special keys, so I could remove the default ones and create new ones where I want, but I don't know how to remove these keys.

Found it!

1. Create a new main layout (ie. based on azerty.json) and push it on the device via adb (for instance in /sdcard/Download);
2. Create a new functional layout (ie. based on functional_keys.json) and push it on the device;
3. On Heliboard settings: Secondary layouts / functional keys, then click Load file and select your functional layout, change the layout name and close;
4. On Heliboard settings: Languages & Layouts, select the language to customize, click +, then load file and select your main layout and change the layout name;
5. Always on the language settings, click Functional keys in the Secondary layout section, and select your functional layout.
