Gen1Linux v1.0

Update-safe RPM + Flatpak packaging of gen1recomp (the Pokémon Red / Blue / Yellow recompilation).

This repo is a pure wrapper/loader:

  • Checks out the matching upstream release tag.
  • Runs the project's own pack_love.sh to build game.love (version-stamped, exactly like upstream CI).
  • RPM: fuses that game.love onto the distro's LÖVE 11.5 runtime so isFused()==true and the game's built-in self-updater keeps working, then packages it with a .desktop entry, an app icon, and the license.
  • Flatpak: wraps the same game.love on Flathub's official LÖVE base app (org.love2d.love2d) with a thin launcher, for any Flatpak-capable distro.

Assets

  • Gen1Linux-<version>.flatpak — install with flatpak install ./Gen1Linux-<version>.flatpak
  • gen1recomp-<version>-1.<dist>.x86_64.rpm — install with sudo dnf install ./gen1recomp-<version>-1.<dist>.x86_64.rpm

Updating

Pushing a v* tag to this repo triggers the build-rpm GitHub Action, which
builds the newest upstream release and attaches both packages to that tag's
