v1.6.0 — 2026-08-07

Added

  • Linux support (AppImage). The launcher now ships as a Linux AppImage
    alongside the Windows installer, with the full Windows feature set: server
    browser, favourites and history, Steam workshop subscription and mod
    download, and one-click launch into modded servers via Proton.

  • Windows release unchanged. The Windows NSIS build is the same
    application as before; Linux is an additional platform target, released
    from the same tag.

Fixed (Linux)

  • The launcher window now renders on Wayland/X11 (WebKit renderer fallback).
  • DayZ launches under Proton with mods loaded correctly (Wine path
    translation), including BattlEye-enabled installs.
  • The "PLAYING" state is detected for sessions running under Proton.
