CatGo 1.4.6
CatGo 1.4.6 is an all-platform release focused on exact trajectory playback,
consistent GPU rendering, and reliable downloads for users who cannot access
GitHub quickly.
Highlights
- Exact, smooth trajectory playback — ASE and LAMMPS dump trajectories
preserve source coordinates and per-frame cells exactly. The prepared-frame
GPU path passes the realdump.trajgate at at least 24 unique presented
frames per second. - GPU impostor bonds everywhere — trajectory and standalone structure views
now share the same seamless impostor-bond rendering, including the fix for
the visible midpoint boundary. - Cloudflare download center — installers and supporting packages are
mirrored at dl.catgo-ucsd.org with resumable
byte-range downloads. Users no longer need GitHub Releases for normal app
acquisition. - Cloudflare desktop updates — signed Windows and macOS in-app updates use
the Cloudflare manifest and versioned assets. Linux update notifications open
the same download center. - Path-traced publication stills — offline high-quality structure rendering
is available from the export tools.

Additional fixes
- Gaussian concatenated-job frame counts and IRC trajectory ordering are
corrected. - Variable-cell streamed trajectories update lattice and bonds with each
presented frame. - Large indexed trajectories avoid the previous reactive-state and renderer
rebuild stalls. - Release artifacts are validated as one draft, checked for embedded legal
materials and provenance, promoted to Cloudflare, and only then made public.
License, acknowledgement, and citation
CatGo 1.4.6 distributions use AGPL-3.0-or-later. Third-party materials
retain their own terms, and historical AGPL grants remain in effect.
