First public build of this fork.

Install

  1. Download DS4MapperTest_1.0.0-beta_x64.zip below and unzip it anywhere.
  2. Install the runtime dependencies listed below.
  3. Connect a supported controller and run DS4MapperTest.exe.

There is no installer yet, so nothing is written outside the folder you
unzip and your own %APPDATA%\DS4TestUniversal\ profile folder.

Windows SmartScreen

The first time you run DS4MapperTest.exe, Windows shows a blue
"Windows protected your PC" screen. Click More info, then Run anyway.

These builds are not code signed, so Windows does not recognise the
publisher. The warning reports the absence of a signature rather than
anything found in the file. If you would rather not take that on trust,
the README has instructions for building from source yourself.

Runtime dependencies

libVIIPER is bundled. FakerInput and HidHide are optional; see the README.

Supported controllers

DualShock 4, DualSense, DualSense Edge, 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless,
Steam Controller 2015, Steam Controller 2026, JoyCon, Switch Pro.

Notes

This is a beta. Profiles live in %APPDATA%\DS4TestUniversal\ and are kept
separate from the upstream Ryochan7 build, so both can be installed side by
side without touching each other's profiles.
