Cloud trial

  • Trial offer after the first success. When a workspace on the free trial makes its first successful tool call, its admins get an offer to start their trial: a card on the dashboard, the connector list and the connect page, plus one email between 30 and 90 minutes later with three things to ask the AI next for that connector (#1078).
    • When it's sent: at most once per workspace, and not within 12 hours of another trial or onboarding email.
    • Self-hosted: not affected.
    • MCP tool answers: nothing changes in what the AI client receives.
  • Honest checkout for returning addresses. An email address that already had a subscription cannot get a second free trial. /start-trial now says so before checkout, and says that the plan starts and is billed today, instead of showing a free trial (#1081).
  • No more promised trial length. The trial pages no longer promise "7 days" where the remaining trial is shorter; they show the real end date.

Sign-in

A verification code pasted with a space, such as "504 452", is accepted, and the email shows the code without the space (#1077).

  • Database: no migration.
  • Behaviour changes: none.
