Billing

A declined card is fixed with a new card, not a second subscription (#1098). When the first charge after a card trial, or a renewal, is declined, Stripe keeps retrying the subscription. AnythingMCP Cloud used to show "View Plans & Purchase License" at that point, and some customers bought a second subscription beside the first.

  • The app now says the payment didn't go through and offers Update card. It opens Stripe's page for adding a card; Stripe puts the card on the subscription and takes the open payment straight away. I've updated my card checks the licence again.
  • The licence page's Update payment method opens the same page.
  • While a declined card is being retried, no second checkout or card trial is offered.
  • When a retry goes through on its own, the licence comes back within a day.
