Highlights

  • New Kotlin declaration and syntax-based call support for .kt and .kts, including branch-scoped upgrades of unchanged cached files.
  • Correct named JavaScript-family function-expression declarations, including Pino's exported getCallers; preserve explicit names and anonymous generator bindings.
  • Correct Go receiver-method names and retain legitimate builder/rebuild source files while preserving generated/dependency exclusions.
  • Publish three separately dated assistant-curated retrieval comparisons with frozen inputs, raw outcomes, unsupported interfaces, operational failures and replay verification. These are exploratory evidence, not independently reviewed holdouts or SOTA claims.

All changes since v0.35.3 are reconciled in CHANGELOG.md. The Node.js floor remains 22.13. Both package identities are released together: open-codebase-index and compatibility opencode-codebase-index.

Verification recorded before publication

  • Full local release gate: build, typecheck, lint; 142 test files / 2,656 tests passed, 6 skipped.
  • Release PR matrix: Node 22/24, six path-semantics targets, CodeQL and release-label checks passed.
  • Dependabot, code-scanning and secret-scanning open-alert boards were empty at preparation.
  • Publication uses the release-triggered GitHub Actions trusted-publishing workflow. Registry installation, runtime and attestation checks are recorded after that workflow completes.

Known limits

Humanizer's five-minute provider-bound indexing timeout remains unresolved. The unchanged five-minute comparison budget also retained large-corpus setup failures; no readiness repair or timeout increase is claimed. Ruby declaration misses are being repaired separately and are not included in this release. The Windows ARM64 native target is best-effort under the workflow's public-preview runner policy. The round3 README includes narrative-only errata; historical scores and frozen archives were not rewritten.
