v0.36.1
Ruby definition retrieval repair
- Persist Ruby instance and singleton method declarations for exact implementation lookup instead of dropping them before symbol-catalog storage.
- Preserve declaration-owned predicate, bang, setter, and operator names without borrowing singleton receivers or body identifiers.
- Ordinary, non-forced indexing repairs unchanged Ruby caches once per branch while retaining unrelated language catalogs and embeddings. No index deletion or forced rebuild is required.
The six exposed dry-types declaration failures now pass the original exact-body/range and reopened-catalog checks. This is development regression evidence, not a new benchmark or relevance/SOTA claim.
Observed prepublication verification
- Local release candidate: build, TypeScript typecheck, ESLint, and full Vitest suite passed: 142 test files / 2,660 tests, with 1 file / 6 tests skipped.
- Ruby repair #427: 14 latest PR checks passed before merge; merged-head CI passed. Original failure and cache-migration proof.
- All three open security alert boards were empty at release preflight; the release procedure rechecks them before tagging.
Scope and limits
- Ruby call extraction remains unsupported. Retaining punctuated names in the native catalog does not add a new punctuated exact-query interface.
- This patch does not change embedding throughput, the five-minute setup budget, or the structural CLI dry-run path. Large-corpus setup failures remain unresolved.
- Historical comparison scores and frozen evidence remain unchanged.
Post-publication clean-install, native/MCP/normal-profile omp and cryptographic provenance results will be recorded on release PR #428 only after execution. Other-platform build results will be distinguished from local macOS ARM64 runtime proof.
