v0.36.2
Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
Fixed
- Report pending parser, symbol and call-graph storage migrations separately from catalog presence and provider compatibility. Workspace status no longer labels a migration-pending catalog ready. Ordinary
index_codebasewithforce: falseremains the upgrade path; status does not rebuild or delete stored data. #429
Evidence
- Publish the registry
open-codebase-index@0.35.3versus@0.36.1comparison separately from source-candidate results. Preserve 36 cold-index cells, 400 primary outcomes and 1,200 query records on the unchanged, development-exposed cohort. Relevant-file discovery and visible returned declaration bodies are different measurements; this is not a blind holdout, speed claim or general-superiority claim. #430
Observed before publication
- CI and all 13 recorded checks passed on release merge commit
5d2d4d128db9bc7addded7859dc8cfb20c25f8bd. Dependabot, code-scanning and secret-scanning open-alert lists were empty at the pre-tag gate. - Fresh built MCP processes read an isolated legacy catalog, reported pending migrations, upgraded it through ordinary non-forced indexing, resolved the newly supported Kotlin declaration and retained old declarations across reopen. No user index was rebuilt or removed.
- Local build, typecheck and lint passed. The serialized full suite passed 2,661 tests with six skipped. A preceding default-parallel run had one Chokidar timeout; its cause is not established and its failed evidence is preserved in the release PR.
Publication and compatibility
The release workflow publishes the preferred open-codebase-index package and synchronized opencode-codebase-index compatibility package. Existing tool names, native binary identities and storage paths remain unchanged. Minimum Node.js is 22.13.0.
Registry clean-install, attestation, native-loading, alias, MCP and fresh omp verification are not yet observed at publication time. Post-publication results will be recorded on release PR #431, without rewriting this immutable release. The separate visible-body and structural-ranking candidate is not included in this patch.
