macOS display wake reliability

  • Before changing the shared monitor input, DisplayMux now asks the destination Mac to activate its display output through the authenticated local Agent.
  • The Mac keeps a user-activity and display-sleep assertion active for 30 seconds, preventing the lock screen from turning black again during the two-second signal stabilization wait.
  • If the display wake assertion cannot be started, DisplayMux stops before changing the monitor input to avoid switching to a blank signal.

Compatibility

  • Supports Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 or later.
  • Existing settings are preserved when updating from v0.1.7.

Known limitations

  • The macOS DMG is ad-hoc signed but not notarized with an Apple Developer ID, so Gatekeeper may require manual approval.
  • Some MST, DisplayLink, and Silicon Motion docks do not forward DDC/CI. Software cannot restore control signals that the hardware does not expose.

  • 從 v0.1.7 更新時會保留既有設定。

已知限制

  • macOS DMG 使用 ad-hoc 簽章，尚未使用 Apple Developer ID 公證，因此 Gatekeeper 可能要求手動允許。
  • 部分 MST、DisplayLink 與 Silicon Motion Dock 不會轉送 DDC/CI；若硬體未提供控制訊號，軟體端無法補回。
