⚠️ Upgrading from v0.2.x

Re-run shelp init zsh (or bash) and start a new shell — the shell plugin changed, and the installed copy is only updated by re-running init.

What's in v0.3.0

Interactive flows now actually work in the zsh widget. Since v0.2.0, the c) chat · r) regenerate · q) quit prompt and chat from cmd?? / ?? were dead in zsh's accept-line widget:

• zle runs widget commands with stdin redirected from /dev/null — the widget now hands shelp the real terminal
• zle also leaves the terminal raw with INLCR set, so Enter never completed a typed chat question — terminal modes are now normalized while interactive
• the single-key prompt imported rich.getchar, which doesn't exist in any rich release — it always silently required Enter; it's now a real termios cbreak read (and no longer swallows keystrokes pressed the instant the prompt renders)
• re-sourcing your zshrc no longer chains the widget onto itself ("No such widget" on every command)

Also fixed:

• cmd? / cmd?? output starts below the typed query instead of gluing onto it; the "generating…" notice erases itself once results render
• chat survives a failed model call (reports the error, returns to the prompt) and no longer saves reply-less turns that auto-retry forever
• the -- guard the plugin sends before dash-leading question words now parses on every supported Python (3.11.14's argparse rejected it)
• pty-based e2e suite in CI: the real CLI and a real zsh driven end-to-end on every push, linux/macos × Python 3.11–3.14
