Hen Screenshots plugin v0.2.2 — Cursor support
Hen Screenshots plugin v0.2.2
This release adds Cursor support to the existing local plugin. Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor share the same skill, templates, renderer, and editable project format.
- Includes a Cursor manifest with the Hen logo and skill discovery, plus a repository marketplace catalog.
- Includes local installation and update instructions for Cursor on macOS, Linux, and Windows.
- Adds a Cursor section and a copyable panorama prompt to the website guide in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
- Validates Cursor discovery files, the logo, and matching host versions in the extracted package checks.
Requires Node.js 22.12+ and one-time dependency setup. Rendering stays local. Captions and translations come from the user or agent; the agent provider’s plan and data policies still apply.
OpenAI currently lists v0.2.1. Anthropic remains pending review as checked September 14, 2026. Cursor can use local installation; a marketplace listing is not yet available. Website downloads and official directory approvals are separate.

Verification
The attached ZIP is the exact artifact from GitHub Actions run 34835601082, at commit 549fb45a70d286adf60e28d96249920caafe9779. Installation and rendering passed on Ubuntu, Windows, and macOS 14. Local discovery and an actual agent render also passed in Cursor 3.20.17 on macOS arm64. The website guide was visually checked on desktop and mobile.

Hen Screenshots plugin v0.2.1
Hen Screenshots plugin v0.2.1
Render projects with custom background images, including designs saved from your personal templates in the web studio.
What changed
- Imports the studio's schema 11
.henscreenshotsprojects and keeps support for earlier project versions. - Preserves background images, their fit and opacity, and continuous backgrounds across linked panorama slides.
- Keeps the existing local workflow: PNG exports, contact-sheet previews, language folders, and editable project files.
To reuse a personal template, open it in the web studio, add your screenshots, and download the project. Ask the agent to render that .henscreenshots file. The plugin does not read the browser's personal-template library or import .hentemplate files directly.
Install or update
Download the ZIP and checksum below, or update through the GitHub marketplace. Follow the installation and update guide. A website deployment does not update an installed plugin; check that the plugin's doctor command reports 0.2.1.
Requires Node.js 22.12+ and npm. For a ZIP installation, extract it into a new folder and run node scripts/setup.mjs. Setup downloads the locked dependencies; rendering then runs locally. Existing captures and project files can be reused.
Verified package
This release contains the exact ZIP from package-check run 34544076299, built at commit 6f800c633ae6c1dbb2d15ecbf1ce45c59603f793. Installation and rendering passed on Linux x64, Windows x64, and macOS arm64 with Node.js 22.23.2.
Checks cover store exports, isometric panoramas, multiple-device mockups, language folders, project round trips, invalid inputs, and overwrite protection.

Limits
Native image inputs are PNG, JPEG, and still WebP, up to 50 MB and 24 megapixels per image and 120 MB combined. Other import formats and source-only Wear OS exports require the web studio. Native typography can differ from the browser; review exports before uploading them to a store. Translations come from you or your agent, not a bundled model.

Hen Screenshots plugin v0.2.0

Follow the installation guide. Download the ZIP and .sha256 file below for a standalone installation, or add Hensell/hen-screenshots as a marketplace in your agent.
Requires Node.js 22.12+ and npm. Run node scripts/setup.mjs inside an extracted ZIP. For marketplace installs, ask the agent to run doctor and complete setup in its installed plugin folder. Setup downloads dependencies; subsequent rendering is local and works offline.

- Phone, tablet, desktop, and multiple-device compositions.
- Captions and language versions supplied by you or your agent.
- Full-size opaque RGB PNGs, a contact-sheet preview, language-organized ZIPs, and an editable
.henscreenshotsproject. - MIT license, bundled font licenses, and third-party notices.
Checks and limitations
The package-check workflow installs the release ZIP on Ubuntu, Windows, and macOS and records each runner's actual platform and architecture. Its tests cover dimensions, PNG format, panoramas, language folders, project round trips, invalid inputs, and overwrite protection. See the workflow attached to the tagged commit for results.
Inputs: PNG, JPEG, and still WebP; 50 MB and 24 megapixels per image, 120 MB combined. Other import formats and source-only Wear OS exports require the web studio. Native typography can differ from the browser. Review captions, crops, and store content requirements before publication.
The plugin is available from GitHub, not the official OpenAI or Anthropic directories. It does not include an AI subscription or translation model. Files shared with your agent follow that provider's policies.
