📘 Prompt Protocol – Wiki

🧠 What is Prompt Protocol? Prompt Protocol is a lightweight module for Cyberpunk RED in Foundry VTT that allows the Game Master (GM) to send clickable skill test prompts to players directly through the chat.

Players can click the prompt and roll using their character’s skill – with full system integration, including stats, effects, situational modifiers, and luck.

1. Enable the module

Go to Settings → Manage Modules, find Prompt Protocol, and enable it in your world.

2. Open the GM Tools panel

Click the 🔧 GM Tools tab on the left-hand Scene Controls panel. Then click the 🎲 Run Skill Test button.

3. Choose:

The skill (e.g. Athletics, Handgun) Difficulty Value (DV) Optional situational description Click Send to Chat – a clickable test appears for players.

4. Player clicks the test

A familiar roll dialog appears (same as clicking the skill on their character sheet) After rolling, a result is shown in chat with: Total result Success/failure Expandable details breakdown (stat, skill level, effects, modifiers, luck, criticals, etc.) 🧪 Example Prompt 🎲 Test: Handgun (DV 15) — While leaning out of a moving car (Click to roll) ✅ Features 🧩 Fully integrated with Cyberpunk RED mechanics 🔍 Uses the same roll interface as the character sheet 🎛️ Detailed breakdown shown after each roll 📦 No macros or external scripts needed 🧰 Modular design – built to work with other GM tools 📢 Reporting Issues or Suggestions Found a bug?
