Tableline 0.2.0 · public preview
Pre-releaseTableline 0.2.0 is the first public preview of the local database workspace with grounded AI and human-reviewed writes.
The macOS download targets Apple Silicon (arm64). The app is signed with Developer ID Application: Davide Leopardi (5LJW72Z2B5), uses hardened runtime, and carries an Apple notarization ticket. English, Italian, French, German and Spanish each have 517 localized messages, persistent switching, native menus and locale-aware formatting.
The local demo contains synthetic SQLite data and requires no account. Database and provider adapters, credential separation, bounded reads and review/discard/commit behavior are documented in the repository. Assistant proposals require human confirmation; the assistant has no commit tool.
Validation:
- 232 unit tests passed on local macOS; two actual-server tests were run separately. GitHub CI also checks Node 22/24 on macOS 15 and Ubuntu 24.04 and scans the entire public history for secrets.
- 35 locale desktop checks passed on source and the packaged application; SQL drafts, results, conversations and form values survive language changes and restarts.
- 17 broader desktop checks passed, four SQL-draft checks passed and three real-server desktop checks passed. Native credential acceptance is excluded and the broader suite retains a nonzero overall exit.
- Actual PostgreSQL 16, MySQL 8.4, MongoDB 8, Redis 7 and ClickHouse 25.8 fixtures passed. Local provider HTTP tests prove transport/discovery, not live cloud model acceptance.
- The packaged source/ASAR, archive integrity, signature, entitlements, staple, Gatekeeper assessment and extracted archive are checked. Native credential API calls are guarded against invocation during normal QA.
- Production dependency audit: zero advisories. The full development/packaging tree has eight high findings from the unpatched http-cache-semantics advisory GHSA-ch52-4w7c-c8xp; see docs/VALIDATION.md.
This is a preview. Live Databricks/Aurora/other cloud accounts, actual native credential authorization, Windows/Linux installers and Intel macOS binaries are not certified. SSH tunnels, database IAM/OAuth, automatic updates, DDL, bulk import and backup/restore are not implemented. No service SLA is claimed.
Download the ZIP and its .sha256 file into the same directory, run shasum -a 256 -c Tableline-0.2.0-mac-arm64.zip.sha256, then extract Tableline.app into Applications. Do not bypass Gatekeeper. The runtime CycloneDX SBOM identifies locked production dependencies; platform-specific optional components may differ.
