YoloCut v0.0.2

YoloCut combines a multitrack desktop editor with a detachable Agent workspace and a complete 119-tool MCP editing surface.

Highlights

  • Faster staged desktop startup: native shell first, embedded server in parallel, asynchronous GPU discovery, and deferred models, thumbnails, update checks, and render-runtime preparation.
  • Dense multitrack performance controls for low-end systems, including bounded decoder pools, adaptive proxies, CPU/RAM-aware admission, and hardware-aware export routing.
  • Unified codec fallback from verified hardware decoding to software decoding and optional third-party codec packs, with AV1, VP9, M2TS, and FFV1 regression coverage.
  • Detachable Agent workspace, reviewable edit sessions, batch auto-edit queues, local ASR/TTS model management, and external MCP clients.
  • Deterministic desktop packaging cleanup so builds cannot inherit stale metadata from an earlier target or version.

Verification

  • Full test suite: 103/103 test segments plus posttest contracts.
  • Production build budgets, lint, architecture boundaries, and 119/119 MCP tool coverage passed.
  • The Windows installer passed silent installation, real desktop startup, render/MCP recovery, isolated runtime and machine state, manual-update mode, uninstall, and cleanup checks.
  • Every published installer is rebuilt and smoke-tested on its native GitHub Actions runner before this release is made public.

Downloads

Release assets contain only directly installable packages:

  • Windows x64: .exe
  • macOS Apple Silicon: .dmg
  • macOS Intel: .dmg

Linux remains built and smoke-tested in CI but is not attached to GitHub Releases. Packaged apps check the latest version in-app and open this Release page for manual installation. Installer SHA-256 values are listed below by the verified release workflow.

Windows packages are unsigned. macOS packages use ad-hoc signing and are not notarized.
