AssetService

• Deprecated everything asset related in favor of ProcessPoint.

AssignmentService

• Duplicated Asset-related parts with a ProcessPoint alternative, including but not limited to:
  • Added rpc ProcessPointAssignments for rpc AssetAssignments.
  • Added values with PROCESS_POINT to AssignmentType for all values with ASSET.
  • Added assign_process_point and to_process_point to Assignment
  • etc.
• Added ListAssignments.Request.use_process_point to switch output to ProcessPoint-based output, since
  Assignment has oneof for assign and to, which means we cannot set both.

EventService

• Duplicated Asset-related events with a ProcessPoint alternative, including but not limited to:
  • Added values with PROCESS_POINT to EventType for all values with ASSET.
  • Added ProcessPointEvent identical to AssetEvent.
  • etc.
• Added ListEventsRequest.use_process_point to switch output to ProcessPoint-based output, since
  Event has oneof for event, which means we cannot set both.
• Updated event text to change asset to process point in various places.
  • This is, unfortunately, not backwards compatible.
  • Verified that those events are not in use for publishers that might fails to parse them now.

ExportService

• Added process_point_values to type.
• Added ListExports.Request.use_process_point_in_configuration to switch output to ProcessPoint-based output, since
  Export has oneof for type, which means we cannot set both.

FieldService

• Added rpc ForProcessPoint and ListFieldsForProcessPoint while deprecating the old rpc ForAsset.

ModemService

• Added Modem.Type.VALVE and Modem.valve_info to support Valve in the Modem list.
• Added Modem.device_type as a simplification, deprecated Modem.GatewayInfo.device_type and Modem.ConnectedDeviceInfo.device_type.
• Removed deprecation from Modem.external_device_ids and deprecated Modem.GatewayInfo.external_device_ids and Modem.ConnectedDeviceInfo.external_device_ids instead.

ModemAlarmService

• Added process_points for assets in various places.

OrganizationService

• Duplicated Asset-related Organization.Features with a ProcessPoint alternative:
  • PROCESS_POINTS for ASSETS,
  • PROCESS_POINT_DASHBOARD for ASSET_DASHBOARD.

Permissions

• Duplicated Asset-related OrganizationPermissions with a ProcessPoint alternative:
  • PROCESS_POINTS for ASSETS,
  • PROCESS_POINTS_UPDATE for ASSETS_UPDATE,
  • PROCESS_POINTS_VALUES for ASSETS_VALUES.

ProcessPointService

• Added ProcessPoint and ProcessPointService as the replacement for Asset and AssetService.
  • They are functionally identical, though some names were changed.

TagService

• Added process_point_count for asset_count in various places.

ValueService

• Added process_points for assets in various places.

ValveService

• Added high_pressure_line_status to Valve (same as last_process.high_pressure_line_status).
