Publishing a module

Publishing your module

You can publish your ADB module so anyone can install it from the Module catalog. Steps:

1. Create the module

Build and test the ZIP locally first (see ADB modules for module.prop / scripts / WebUI). Bump versionCode on every release — the updater keys off it.

2. Create a GitHub repository

Push the module sources (module.prop, *.sh, webui/, banner) to a public repo, and/or attach a ready ZIP to a GitHub Release (for Release install mode the asset must match the module id).

3. Add the topic

Add the shevery-modules topic to the repo (About → gear → Topics). Without it, discovery won't find you. Keep the count fair: max 4 modules per user.

4. (Recommended) Add updateJson

Host a small JSON (in the repo or a gist) and reference it from module.prop:

{
  "version": "1.1",
  "versionCode": 2,
  "zipUrl": "https://github.com/you/repo/releases/download/v1.1/my.module.zip",
  "changelog": "https://github.com/you/repo/releases/tag/v1.1"
}

5. Done

Within ~6 h (cache TTL) your module appears in everyone's Catalog, installable in one tap. Announce it in the Telegram channel.
