MIDI in plays the instruments. A keyboard or pad on the adapter plays four voices at once, while the song runs too.
Set it up in the project screen's MIDI box. in chan picks the channel, in inst the instrument, in mode chooses cursor, keys, or kit (each key from in root plays the next instrument up the bank, so pads play samples), and in vel sets how much velocity affects level.

Stop cuts every voice and empties the delay and reverb. A running mixdown still keeps its tail.
