Voksa 0.1.0: go live, leak nothing
The first public release of Voksa, the browser built for streaming.
Share your screen or go live without ever leaking an IP address, an email, a phone number or a private URL. Voksa masks them on screen, in real time, before a single frame can escape.
🛡️ Stream Mode
One shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+S), one click on the shield, or just launch your recorder:
- Masks IP addresses, emails and phone numbers on every page, live, as pages load and change, including inside iframes.
- Your own keywords too: a client name, a project codename, a username. You choose the list.
- Form fields are visually redacted while you type. What you submit stays intact.
- The browser itself is masked: tab titles, address bar, suggestions, history. Not just the page.
- It arms itself: start OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit or vMix and Stream Mode turns on before you even hit "Go live".
- Hardware stays private: camera, microphone, location and screen-capture requests are auto-denied, and WebRTC (the classic IP leak) is blocked.
🌐 A real browser
Sign in to Google, Gmail and YouTube normally. Install extensions straight from the Chrome Web Store (uBlock Origin, Bitwarden and friends). Nested bookmark folders, history, downloads, find in page, per-site permissions, persistent zoom, print with live preview, session restore, full dark mode, and French/English detected from your system.
Voksa keeps itself up to date automatically, with a manual check in Settings.

ℹ️ What masking does and does not cover
Voksa masks patterns: public IP addresses, emails, phone numbers, internal hostnames, and the keywords you add yourself. Anything else that is sensitive to you (a client's name, an amount, a contract number) is masked only if you add it to your keyword list.
Masking works on page text, so text baked into an image, a video or a canvas is not masked, because it is not text.
🐛 Feedback
This is a first release: bug reports and ideas are very welcome in Issues.
Voksa is free and open source (GPL-3.0).
