🐱 Contributing Guide – Add Your Own Cat!
Thank you for your interest in contributing to this project!
Follow the steps below to add your own custom sitting or standing cat drawing.
✅ 1. Fork the Repository
Click the Fork button on the top-right of this repo to create your own copy.
✅ 2. Choose a Cat Template
Inside the cat_templates/ folder, you’ll find two base templates:
cat_sitting_template.png
cat_standing_template.png
Copy the one you want to draw on.
✅ 3. Open the Template in Microsoft Paint
Use Microsoft Paint (recommended for consistency).
🎨 4. Drawing Rules
To keep all cats stylistically consistent:
✔ Use only the Brush tool
✔ Color: Black (#000000)
✔ Draw ONLY within the face region
✔ Do NOT draw outside the cat outline
✔ A mouse or touchpad works best
✔ Keep it simple and clean!
📁 5. Save Your Drawing
Rename your file using this format:
For sitting cats:
cat_sitting_.png
For standing cats:
cat_standing_.png
Examples:
cat_sitting_smiley.png
cat_standing_angry_eyes.png
📂 6. Add the File to the Correct Folder
Place your finished drawing inside:
Sitting cats → cats/
Standing cats → cats_2/
🚀 7. Create a Pull Request
Commit your changes and open a Pull Request.
Make sure your PR includes:
Your new cat(s)
A short description of what you drew
