v1.0.2 - Critical Bug Fixes and Stability
This release fixes multiple critical bugs to make GitGo more stable and predictable. It also adds new safety checks to prevent user errors.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the application crashed silently if Git was not installed. It now checks for Git on startup and shows a clear error message.
- Fixed an issue where commands would instantly kill the application on failure. Errors are now handled gracefully.
- Fixed a bug on macOS where the operating system was not detected correctly.
- Fixed a bug in the
load_statecommand where it printed raw program data instead of the saved item message. - Fixed error hiding. The application now alerts the user to specific errors instead of hiding all issues silently.
Improvements
- Added format validation for repository URLs. The
linkcommand now checks if the URL format is correct (HTTPS or SSH) before executing. - Improved the internal command executor to support standard exception handling, making the core code more reliable.
