Add hero widget with carousel functionality

I love your hero widget. Thank you again for all the nice and hard work you have done!

I have seen that you are planning to add carousel/widget shortcode. Are this going to work with the hero widget as well?

It's now been implemented. To use, update Academic to latest master version, download the hero carousel widget to your home/ folder and set active = true at the top of its front matter.

Good morning,
I just landed on this issue while searching a Hugo "carousel" component. However, I cannot find the file you mentioned, hero_carousel.md, in the repository anymore. Had been renamed to something else or replaced with another functionality?

While taking a second look at the code, I see there's now a slider widget. Is the new version of the hero_carousel? Thanks a lot again for your help. Regards, -- Riccardo.
