EntropIA Pro & Lite v1.0.11

This release ships EntropIA Pro and EntropIA Lite.

What's new

Microsoft Store installs no longer create a broken desktop shortcut. The Store package inherited two shortcut mechanisms from the Win32 MSI capture: literal .lnk files in its payload, and manifest shortcut declarations pointing into C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\.... Windows blocks ordinary shortcut launches from that directory, so the desktop icon failed with "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file" even though the app opened normally from Start, the taskbar and Windows Search.

Both mechanisms are gone. The Store package now registers itself through package identity alone, which is what made those three launch paths work all along. The repack verifies this on every build, so a shortcut cannot come back unnoticed.

This affected only the Microsoft Store build. The MSI and NSIS installers below keep their usual desktop shortcut, which is valid under C:\Program Files.

Pro includes local inference — local OCR, local embeddings and local LLM. The installer stays small: the ML runtime is not bundled, and downloads automatically from a signed source on first launch.

Lite is the lean build: it works through API providers and does not run local inference, so it has no ML runtime to download.

Lite is also published on the Microsoft Store, which is the channel that carries the shortcut fix above. The Store package is not attached here — install or update it from the Store.

It also simplifies the document viewer controls by reorganizing the zoom and rotation options for a clearer and more consistent interface.

This release further delivers a more consistent interface, streamlined icon-based controls, and multiple stability fixes for searches, actions, and title synchronization.
