Thoth Terminal 0.3.1-beta.1 — final beta
Pre-releaseThoth Terminal's final beta is a source release for a fresh, independent installation.
Collect sources, work with datasets, connect evidence to notes and theses, and develop reports in a local-first workspace. Desktop, web, and MCP tools share those research objects.
The archive includes the application, required Rust crate, build scripts, and setup instructions. It contains no operator database, research watchlists, documents, private reports, credentials, or browser sessions. Fresh initialization installs generic vocabulary and local ingestion defaults while preserving existing user records.
Public access is restricted to the product landing page and explicitly published research. Published readers use publication snapshots rather than current private titles or linked records. Private HTTP routes and WebSockets remain behind the serving boundary.
Validation: 272 focused tests and 34 subtests; 17 additional export and house-view checks; Rust extension built from the bare source; fresh Python 3.13 desktop installation with clean dependency checks; fresh PostgreSQL initialization and native/web/desktop imports. The manifest hashes all 572 reviewed source files.
Requirements: Python 3.11+, Rust/Cargo, and PostgreSQL 16+. The documented desktop setup uses Windows 11. This is not a prebuilt installer. Optional integrations require your own configuration and credentials.
Start with the installation guide in docs/public_release_quickstart.md. The source ZIP, manifest, and checksum are attached below.
