v1.0-beta
Some shimmering needs to be adressed in next version.
you don't need to install the filter, just replace existing filter with the new MpcVideoRenderer64.ax (backup existing filter first) + add the "dlss" folder (and add the last modded nvngx_dlssnr.dll from RenoDX Discord)

First public build. An optional DLSS 5 Neural Rendering pass (NGX feature 18) added to MPC Video Renderer's Direct3D 11 pipeline. With the option off, the renderer behaves exactly as upstream does.

You have to supply one file yourself
nvngx_dlssnr.dll is not in this archive. It is NVIDIA's binary, it is not redistributable, and it weighs 159 MB. Without it the option stays greyed out and the filter behaves like the stock renderer.

Put it next to MpcVideoRenderer64.ax, or in the dlss\ subfolder, or point the filter's property page at wherever you keep it.

Installing
Unpack the archive anywhere.
Add nvngx_dlssnr.dll next to MpcVideoRenderer64.ax.
Run Install_MPCVR_64.cmd as administrator.
In MPC-BE: Options → Playback → Output → Video Renderer → MPC Video Renderer.
Open a video, then the filter's property page, and tick Enable in the NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural Rendering group. F12 toggles the effect during playback.
The dlss\nvngx.dll in the archive is not NVIDIA's DLL — it is a small shim of ours that the feature needs, explained in the README. Keep it.

Requirements
NVIDIA RTX GPU, x64 only — the feature is compiled out of the 32-bit build
Windows 10 1703 or newer
Roughly 500 MB of extra VRAM at 1080p
Known limitations
A light temporal shimmer on moving content. This is structural, not a setting you have to find: the network blends each frame with its own previous output, and video has no motion vectors to align that blend with. Lowering Local tone and Local struct. helps noticeably.
The Preset combo has no effect with any DLL build seen so far — they ship a single network and every preset falls back to it.
The technical detail, every setting and the diagnostic tools are in README-DLSS5.md.
