Redacto v0.5.0.79

Choose a tag to compare

@BenKoncsik BenKoncsik released this 09 Oct 12:41

Build 79 of this fork, based on upstream version 0.5.0, commit 70bf54f.

See CHANGELOG.md for release notes.

Install packages: redacto-chrome-brave-vivaldi-*.zip for Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi and other Chromium browsers; redacto-edge-*.zip for Microsoft Edge; redacto-firefox-*.zip for Firefox 140+; redacto-vscode-*.vsix, redacto-jetbrains-*.zip and redacto-visualstudio-*.vsix for the IDEs.

The Local AI model is not in the packages: every build downloads it (~170 MB) once, on first use, from Hugging Face, verifies it, and shows the progress (popup, side panel and toolbar icon in the browsers; the IDE's progress indicator and the Redacto panel in the IDEs). Until it is there, pattern-based detection is active.

Chrome Web Store uploads remain manual, Microsoft Edge Add-ons is submitted by the edge-publish job on every push, and addons.mozilla.org by the firefox-publish job on every run (see docs/developer/releasing.md).
