What's New:

1. We've added Full Image download capability in Export Imagery, considering some users' needs for complete imagery. Users can now choose to download either cropped images (Crop Image) or full scenes (Full Image) based on their requirements.

2. We've received feedback about statistical analysis issues when input regions greatly exceed image boundaries. We've made two key improvements: first, implementing topological calculations for user-defined regions (supported by the polybool library), and second, introducing an alternative data access method for full image analysis.

3. In response to users requesting more detailed data information, we've implemented an interface for viewing image attributes, providing more comprehensive access to the data's properties.

4. We've enhanced the region filtering functionality by adding support for Shapefile (.shp) format, enabling viewing and selection of multiple features within files. The manual input mode now supports both Degree and DMS formats, with the ability to switch between them.

5. We've temporarily disabled the Select All function for band selection. We encourage users to carefully choose bands based on their specific needs - following the principle that "less is more" - which also helps reduce the server processing load.

Q&A

How does the full image download work?
We utilize Microsoft Planetary Computer's STAC API with SAS token authentication, then redirect the download links to your browser. This approach gives users more flexibility in managing their downloads.

1. 支持整幅影像下载：考虑到部分用户有下载整幅影像的需求，我们在 Export Imagery 中新增了 Full Image 的下载功能。用户可以根据需求下载裁剪的影像（Crop Image）和整幅影像（Full Image）。
2. 支持整幅影像统计：我们收到用户在统计功能使用时遇到的问题，集中在输入的区域远大于影像范围时报错。我们做了两部分内容的改进：一是对用户输入的区域信息进行拓扑运算（由 polybool 第三方库提供支持），二是整幅影像采用另外的数据访问方式。
3. 支持影像信息预览：部分用户对数据条目有更多的信息需求，我们提供了对应影像的属性信息查看接口，对数据返回的属性进行更多披露。
4. 筛选区域功能改进：新增支持 shp 格式的文件输入，对含有多个要素的文件支持查看和选择；手动输入模式支持 Degree 模式和 DMS 模式，并支持模式切换；
5. 波段选择功能优化：我们暂时锁定 Select All 的功能键，希望用户在波段选择的时候能够根据实际情况进行筛选，“少即是多”，同时也减轻服务器数据处理负担。

Q&A

下载整幅影像是怎么实现的呢？
我们使用 Microsoft Planetary Computer 的 STAC API，配合 SAS 签名的功能，然后将下载链接转发到浏览器进行下载。此方法能让用户拥有更多的选择余地。

更新日志：

1. 新增功能：Filter Region 模块新增对 shp 格式的支持，并且增加一个文件内含多个面要素时筛选单个面要素的功能；

目前 shp 格式仅支持面要素的读取，并且需为地理坐标系（推荐WGS84）。

2. 新增功能：数据条目预览时，增加查看影像信息功能。
3. 功能优化：由于全选波段易造成服务器返回空值问题，暂时锁定 Select All 选项。

目前波段选择过多易导致下载失败，单次下载请尽可能选择较少的波段，并且单次下载尽量不要选择跨分辨率的波段。

4. 场景优化：当输入区域过大时，软件优化了与服务器传输的数据内容，增加了影像下载和区域统计的成功率。

请注意，目前输入区域过大时，部分影像能够正常下载，但部分过大的影像请求仍然被服务器拒绝，请尽量选择尽可能小的研究区域。

5. 场景优化：当点击 Export 按钮后，用户可以自定义保存的文件名。对于多个数据条目下载时，需要前条数据保存完整后，次条数据才会请求保存文件，继而进入下载状态。按时间顺序为 "数据1保存位置—数据1下载—数据2保存位置—数据2下载……"

温馨提示

为什么我点击 Export 按钮后，进入 Downloading 状态但是没有数据保存到本地，显示 Download Completed 呢？
进入 Downloading 状态时，软件将请求数据发送到 Planetary Computer 服务器，当服务器返回空数据并且没有报错时，软件跳出下载状态，并且显示 Download Completed 状态。Planetary Computer 对普通用户的访问资源存在限制，而非软件本身对用户的限制。

Update Log:

1. New Feature: The Filter Region module now supports .shp format and adds the ability to filter individual polygon features when a file contains multiple polygon features.

Currently, .shp format only supports reading polygon features, and requires geographic coordinate system (WGS84 recommended).

2. New Feature: Added functionality to view image information during data entry preview.

3. Feature Optimization: The "Select All" option has been temporarily locked due to server returning null values when all bands are selected.

Currently, selecting too many bands may cause download failures. Please select fewer bands per download and avoid selecting bands with different resolutions in a single download.

4. Scene Optimization: When the input region is too large, the software has optimized data transmission with the server, increasing the success rate of image downloads and regional statistics.

Please note that while some images can be downloaded normally for large input regions, requests for excessively large images may still be rejected by the server. Please select the smallest possible study area.

5. Scene Optimization: After clicking the Export button, users can now customize the saved filename. For multiple data entry downloads, the next data entry will only request to save and begin downloading after the previous data entry has been completely saved. The sequence is "Data1 Save Location—Data1 Download—Data2 Save Location—Data2 Download..."

Important Notes

Why do I see "Download Completed" status without any data saved locally after clicking Export and entering Downloading state?
When entering the Downloading state, the software sends data requests to the Planetary Computer server. When the server returns empty data without errors, the software exits the download state and displays Download Completed status. This is due to Planetary Computer's access limitations for regular users, not restrictions imposed by the software itself.

Planetary Pro is currently in public beta testing. The software has two main functions:

1. Export Image - Filter images from remote sensing cloud platforms based on query criteria. Built-in modules for image cropping and other basic operations allow direct export of ready-to-use images for the study area.
2. Zonal Statistics - Directly compute statistics for image products in the study area without the need to download images first.
