Highlights

This is the first official release for the 2026 REBUILT season. It includes newly configured files for the match scouter view and the /analysis page, along with new data transformers, an updated /edit layout, and a new Go To Admin Page button in the menu.
As the season progresses, we’ll continue refining configs and adding features based on internal testing and feedback from other teams. As always, teams are encouraged to fork SPOT and customize the config files to best fit their scouting needs. Happy scouting!

Upcoming Features

TBA Data Integration

This season, we plan to integrate TBA data to automatically gather key robot statistics such as successful climbs, total points scored per match, and Auto and Teleop performance. This integration will improve data accuracy while reducing the amount of manual input required from scouters.

Radar Chart

The Radar Chart will visualize a robot’s performance across specific roles (passing, shooting, collecting, and defense) by displaying an average rating for each phase of the match. This feature will provide strategic insight into how a robot adapts throughout a match and help teams evaluate its effectiveness in different roles.

Fuel Scoring / OPR Rating

A linear algebra–based model, similar to TBA’s (The Blue Alliance) OPR, will be implemented to calculate a team’s average points and fuel scored per match. This approach improves accuracy while significantly reducing the scouting workload during matches.

Pit Scouting

Pit Scouting will introduce a new, fully customizable webpage for each team’s pit scouting questions, formatted in a Google Form–style layout. Integrating pit scouting into SPOT allows teams to consolidate all scouting data into a single web app, making analysis in /analysis more efficient.

Additional Data Transformers

New data transformers such as avgTime, weightedSumAverage, and others will be added to SPOT to simplify data calculations. These tools will make it easier for teams to generate meaningful insights and gather the data they need more efficiently.
