DAW Workflow

Arrangement, tracks, and clips

Solo now works consistently across mixer channels, tracks, patterns, MIDI clips, and audio clips.
Right-clicking a mixer or pattern channel activation control toggles Solo; right-clicking again restores the previous state.
Pattern names are now visible in the Arrangement.
Added Make Unique to the clip context menu for FL Studio-style independent clip editing.
Added Rename to pattern, MIDI, and audio clip context menus.
Renaming a pattern clip now keeps the underlying pattern name synchronized.
Instrument-track MIDI clips now use sequential names such as MIDI 1, MIDI 2, and MIDI 3 instead of inheriting the instrument-track name.
Arrangement zoom controls now remain synchronized with the current zoom level.

Step Sequencer and Piano Roll

Added slot-level Copy Steps, Cut Steps, and Paste Steps commands.
Added generator access to Step Sequencer slot context menus.
Added direct switching between melodic and drum generators.
Added Replace support for VST instrument slots.
Piano Roll keyboard shortcuts can now cut, copy, paste, and delete notes created in the Step Sequencer.
Fill Each 2/4/etc. now creates audible step events instead of only updating the visual grid.
Double-clicking a sample slot now opens Sampler Settings directly without an unnecessary Add VST/Add Sample popup.
Piano Roll recording now captures notes played from its on-screen keyboard and supported plug-in keyboards.
Improved Drum Pad input timing and recording responsiveness.

Samples and Browser

Added automatic start trimming for one-shot samples with leading silence.
Redesigned Sampler Settings for clearer waveform trimming, root-note selection, envelopes, LFO, filter, and time controls.
Added a right-click pitch-preservation option for BPM-synced browser previews and Arrangement clips.
Improved folder drag-and-drop handling in the Browser to prevent lockups and crashes.
Improved sample caching and resource cleanup as projects and arrangements grow.

AI Music and Prompt Audio Studio

Fixed malformed request-body handling that could cause Eleven Music generation to fail with JSON decoding errors.
Added stronger request and response validation for AI music providers.
Improved generation-state reporting and error feedback in Prompt Audio Studio.
Added clearer progress reporting for ACE and AI model installation.
Improved generated-audio import and project integration.

Stock Plug-in Upgrades

Stock plug-ins received extensive interface, metering, visualization, preset, parameter, and DSP reliability improvements. Controls now provide clearer feedback, layouts scale more consistently, and visual displays better represent the processing being applied.
