This PR finally adds automatic tests for the backend on every push to the repository.
Currently the only module with tests is the transport module, but sooner or later most of them will have a good test suite to ensure every change works as intended.
I have also made some small changes to the previous workflows to also trigger on pull requests and reduce the space they take on the GitHub storage.
The test for the sniffer demux also had some bugs after a change in the buffer implementation which have been fixed, the new buffer now does not wait for input, returning a length of 0 when no data is ready and the test now uses a small timeout to wait for input
