EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.8 - Windows cheats
Linux users: Download the AppImage preview · Linux release notes
Adds a Windows-only Cheats tab under Settings.
- Infinite party HP and EP.
- Infinite money (TB) and upgrade points (SP).
- 2×, 5× and 10× money and experience rewards.
- A button to turn all cheats off.
All cheats are disabled by default. Choose your options, click Apply, then start the game. HP and EP keep each character at their normal maximum; they pause during the scripted opening Ice Queen fight.
Money, SP and levels already saved remain after disabling cheats. Use a separate save slot to keep your original progress.
Existing Windows players: update the launcher, then use Update Game with your ISO to build native version 0.3.7. Your saves and settings are preserved.
Party HP, EP, money and SP were confirmed in a Windows playtest. Automated checks cover defaults, party/enemy separation, the opening fight, settings and reward limits. Full-campaign cheat testing is ongoing.
The Linux preview is unchanged.
Download and extract EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.8-windows-x64.zip, then open EnchantedArmsLauncher.exe. You supply your own supported Xbox 360 ISO. No game data is included.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.7 — V-Sync always enabled
0.5.7 — V-Sync always enabled
V-Sync is now always enabled, and its setting has been removed from the launcher.
This applies automatically even if you previously turned it off.
Your 30 or 60 FPS choice, other graphics settings and saves are kept.
Updating from 0.5.6 does not require rebuilding the game. Use Settings → Updates,
then close and reopen the game to apply the change.
For a new installation, download EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.7-windows-x64.zip from
Assets and extract it before opening EnchantedArmsLauncher.exe. Supply your
own supported game ISO.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.6 — Tidier game and save folders
0.5.6 — A tidier game folder
Keep the default locations in Settings → Game to build beside the launcher.
Your game and launcher stay together, with saves in a visible Saves folder.
- Save location now has its own folder picker. Choose another folder if you prefer; your current progress is copied there without overwriting different saves.
- Use launcher folder and Use default restore the recommended build and save locations.
- Selecting the outer folder from an extracted download now finds the project inside it. Existing EnchantedArmsPC project folders can also be used for setup.
- Older saves are moved automatically into Saves. Changing locations and retrying setup preserve existing progress and settings.
- Screenshots stay in the game's
.local/runtime/capturesfolder, even when saves are elsewhere.
Updating: install this launcher update, then choose Update Game and rebuild
from your ISO for native build 0.3.6. Verified tools and extracted game files
are reused. This keeps the existing gameplay fixes and adds support for the new
folder arrangement. Close the game before changing folders.
If you already built in a separate location, open the launcher in that completed
build folder and update there. It is a standalone installation; the original
download is no longer needed. Keep your ISO and any personal files before removing
an old download folder. The update does not automatically delete other folders.
When changing save locations, the old save folder is kept as a backup. If the
selected folder contains different progress, choose an empty folder instead.
External save folders remain intact when uninstalling the game.
Download EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.6-windows-x64.zip from Assets and extract it
before opening EnchantedArmsLauncher.exe. Supply your own supported game ISO.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.5 — Choose your build folder
0.5.5 — Choose your build folder
In Settings → Game, choose your ISO, then choose a Build location.
The game, saves and launcher will stay together in that folder. Use a dedicated
empty folder, such as D:\Games\EnchantedArmsPC.
The current build tools require a path without accented or non-Latin characters.
When setup finishes, the launcher reopens from your chosen folder. Click
Play Enchanted Arms when you're ready. Existing desktop shortcuts created
by the launcher are updated to point there.
If you already have a build, its current location stays selected. Choosing a
different folder copies your saves and texture packs; your original installation
is kept. Future launches from the original launcher open the completed build.
Updating from 0.5.4 does not require rebuilding the game. To build in another
location, choose that folder and click Rebuild game.
Download EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.5-windows-x64.zip from Assets and extract it
before opening EnchantedArmsLauncher.exe. Supply your own supported game ISO.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.4 — Simpler launcher settings
0.5.4 — Simpler launcher settings
A cleaner settings window with consistent headings, better spacing and simpler
descriptions.
- Graphics presets have been removed. Adjust each picture setting individually.
- Display now has a clearly named V-Sync setting with On and Off choices.
- The Advanced tab has been removed.
Your saves and existing preferences are kept. Updating from 0.5.3 does not
require rebuilding the game. This release includes the opening Queen battle
fix from 0.5.3.
Download EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.4-windows-x64.zip from Assets, extract it, then
open EnchantedArmsLauncher.exe. New players supply their own supported
Enchanted Arms ISO.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.3 — Opening battle fix
0.5.3 — Opening battle fix
Fixes the Game Over / Retry loop after Ice Giga Zone in the opening Queen
of Ice fight. Atsuma, Toya and Makoto now keep 1 HP after lethal attacks in that
fight, allowing the story to continue. Later fights keep their normal rules.
Already playing? Update the launcher, then choose Update Game and rebuild
from your ISO. Your saves and settings are kept. A launcher-only update cannot
apply this fix to an older compiled game.
The fix applies at 30 and 60 FPS. The opening story transition has been confirmed
by a player at 60 FPS, with the local game log verifying 1 HP for each character.
Full campaign testing is still in progress.
Download EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.3-windows-x64.zip from the release's Assets and
extract it before opening EnchantedArmsLauncher.exe. The package includes
the launcher and setup tools; you supply your own supported game ISO.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.2 - Fresh-install build fix
Fixes fresh setup failing with “Could not verify cached download” / “Invalid argument” for the ReXGlue SDK.
Windows security blocked the old upstream archive during a fresh-install reproduction. Setup now uses a checksum-verified tool package built from the matching public source. Remaining security blocks get a clear error instead of a misleading folder-access message.
Download EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.2-windows-x64.zip under Assets. Close the launcher, extract the kit over your existing installation, preserve .local and bin, reopen the launcher, and retry Build game. Do not uninstall to retry. Your ISO and saves do not need to be deleted.
Existing playable native 0.3.4 installations do not need a game rebuild. Gameplay and graphics settings are unchanged.
Includes source and checksums. This is an early public playtest; the full campaign is still being tested. No game files are distributed.
Setup build dependency - ReXGlue 0.10.0 ea1
Build dependency for EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.2. Players should download the complete Windows kit from the main project release; setup fetches and verifies this package automatically.
Built from ReXGlue source revision f5337cdc947ff6d4c4196737e2c807a48f2a1fc2, using the project's documented compiler/runtime configuration. Includes the optimized code generator, RelWithDebInfo SDK, licenses, provenance and file checksums. The unused upstream Release/Debug runtime variants are not included. No game files or generated game code are present.
The corresponding source archive is included. Rebuild and packaging instructions: https://github.com/IAndrewJJ/EnchantedArmsRecomp/blob/main/docs/SETUP_SDK.md
The old upstream Windows archive was blocked with Windows error 225 during a fresh-install reproduction. This source-built package passed archive read-back, extraction, code generation, and an SDK compile/link/load check on that PC. Setup does not alter security settings, restore quarantined files, or install blocked tools.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.1.0 - Linux preview
EnchantedArmsLinux preview 0.1.0
The first native Linux AppImage of EnchantedArmsLinux, with a themed launcher,
ISO importing and local game compilation. Wine and Proton are not required.
Download EnchantedArmsPC-linux-0.1.0-x86_64.AppImage, allow it to run as a
program, and open it. Choose your supported Xbox 360 ISO and build folder under
Settings → Game, then Build game. The launcher waits for **Play Enchanted
Arms** before opening the game.
-
Resolution scaling, FSR 1, CAS, antialiasing and texture filtering/detail.
-
30 and 60 FPS options, with V-Sync always enabled.
-
A selectable save location; saves default to Saves inside the build folder.
-
Keyboard/controller settings, F6 FPS counter, F8 screenshots and a desktop shortcut.
-
Bundled build tools; the AppImage contains no game files or translated game code.
Requires x86-64-v2 / SSE4.2 Linux, glibc 2.35 or newer, working Vulkan drivers, and about 20 GB
of free space beyond the ISO. Ubuntu 22.04 or newer meets the glibc requirement.
This is an experimental Linux preview. Native compilation, graphics pipeline
checks and packaged launcher tests run on Linux CI. Actual Enchanted Arms gameplay
on Linux hardware has not been verified. We need Linux players to test setup,
graphics, audio, saves and progression before recommending it for normal play.
The Windows 0.5.7 release is unchanged. This preview uses a separate Linux release
channel and does not replace Windows downloads. Keep backups of your saves.
See the included Linux README for folder locations, FUSE alternatives and build
instructions. The runtime source archive and build recipes accompany the AppImage.
EnchantedArmsPC 0.5.1 - Uninstall, stable FPS options and app icon
This update adds confirmed uninstall, simplifies the frame-rate selector, and introduces the approved EnchantedArmsPC application icon.
- Settings → Game → Uninstall EnchantedArmsPC… shows the exact installation folder and a clear save-deletion warning, with Cancel selected by default. After confirmation it removes that installation, matching standard shortcuts and its temporary helper. External ISOs and linked external folders are preserved; it does not scan for other installations.
- Settings → Display now offers only 30 FPS · Stable and 60 FPS · Stable. New installations default to 30. Existing 60 FPS preferences remain at 60; retired higher/unlimited settings become 60.
- The original gold-gauntlet/cyan-crystal icon is embedded in the launcher and used by its windows and desktop shortcuts. Ten ICO sizes cover 16–256 pixels. The transparent source PNG and generation prompt are included in the source.
Download EnchantedArmsPC-0.5.1-windows-x64.zip below and extract the complete kit into a dedicated writable folder. Existing players can use Settings → Updates, or close the launcher/game and unpack the kit over the existing installation while preserving .local and bin.
No game rebuild is required for players already on native 0.3.4. The game executable and renderer 0.3.0 are unchanged. The matching renderer source archive is included.
Validation includes launcher settings/lifecycle checks, FPS preference migration, uninstall fixtures covering protected roots, changed directory identity, long/read-only paths, external junctions/cycles, shared hard links, shortcut matching and temporary-helper self-cleanup. No real saves or development installation were deleted. GitHub Actions runs these Windows checks and the existing setup/package/timing/input checks.
Player feedback now covers about three hours of steady upscaled 60 FPS gameplay, with few first-use effect/ability dips and no visual issues reported in that span. Full campaign testing continues; the earlier missing-NPC reports have not been independently resolved.
