Supplementary documentation for NyxScope — the bits that don't belong in the README or the user manual but matter once you're past the first install.

  • Hardware-Setup — Driver install for every supported SDR (Zadig for RTL-SDR; SoapySDR modules for HackRF, Airspy, SDRplay, PlutoSDR, LimeSDR, Fobos, bladeRF). Per-device gotchas, USB cable warnings, network-SDR auto-discovery.
  • Trunking-Configuration — Setting up P25 Phase 1 / Phase 2 (including LSM simulcast systems), EDACS (Standard and EA), NXDN48 / NXDN96. Talkgroup imports, control-channel discovery, "I hear the CC but no voice" diagnostics.

Reporting issues

  • Bugs in NyxScope's wrapper or UI → open an issue.
  • Protocol-decode bugs (e.g., a specific rtl_433 sensor or a misdecoded P25 frame) → file upstream with the project that owns the decoder. NyxScope does not fork bundled tools; fixes belong with the maintainers.

Contributing

This wiki tracks the public release of NyxScope. If you spot something wrong or missing, edit the page and submit the change — the wiki is open for community edits via GitHub. Substantive additions are welcome; the goal is to keep first-time users unstuck.
