Going into this, I had a very basic understanding of how Unity and game coding worked in general since the most I've been exposed to was watching people make games on YouTube but in a way where they explain very briefly without going into detail and moving on. Now that I'm actually using unity myself, it's not as difficult as I imagined but it does take quite a bit of time. Over the past few days I have been in Unity mostly just exploring to get a better feel of the program instead of rushing the flappy bird project. It was a bit overwhelming at first but after watching the video from Game Makers, I had a better understanding of the program and how to properly go about making a game. I've decided to use today and tomorrow to essentially make a roadmap of some sort and I'll begin working on my project over the weekend.

The roadmap I planned on doing isn't completely finished yet but I have started my flappy bird project. I decided to go with a different bird sprite/model than the one in the video and ended up using a custom sprite, but I do intend on using the pipes. I have also started to think about my final game and I'm either going to try my hand at a rhythm game or a platformer. If I do go with a platformer I will probably go in a different direction from my friend Tony.
