Mind the Gaps 10.11.6.0

The lists you already keep elsewhere now feed the report, and anything you have since filled in clears off it.

Your lists become gaps. Switch on any of the personal lists in the settings and each arrives as its own group on Discover: your IMDb watchlist or any public IMDb list, your Trakt watchlist, your JustWatch watchlist, your MDBList watchlist, your Discogs wantlist, your OpenLibrary "Want to Read", your favorite series on TheTVDB, and your TMDB watchlist and favorites once you connect your TMDB account (two clicks, nothing calling back, so your server needs no public address). An IMDb list of people is read as a filmography to fill in instead, which is what lets you follow a director or an actor you own nothing by yet.

Discover is sectioned. The lists you keep first, then the lists you pointed the plugin at, then what your own library suggested. A list that was read and holds nothing you are missing says so rather than not appearing at all, and one that could not be read says that instead.

Clear off what you have, without a rescan. A refresh control on every row and every heading checks your library right now and drops what you hold, "Clear what I have" does the whole filtered tab, and an acquired title leaves every tab it appeared on at once. What survives can be re-checked against its providers in the background, which also picks up what has been added to a collection, discography, or bibliography since the last scan. The TODO list checks the same way, and both Markdown exports check before writing.

Also: undated titles are treated as not yet out and badged Announced (music and books exempt); Diagnose reads an announced same-titled item as an earlier, different release rather than a misidentification; scanning and clearing read far less of your library, so a long scan no longer holds it in memory while it waits on providers; Trakt and MDBList lists read to the end instead of stopping at 100 and 1000; an acquisition URL carrying a username and password is redacted before it reaches the log.

Mind the Gaps 10.11.5.4 (beta)

The Discover tab is laid out the way the rest of the report already was.

• The lists you keep come first (your TMDB, Trakt, MDBList and JustWatch watchlists, your IMDb lists, your Discogs wantlist, your OpenLibrary shelf, your TheTVDB favorites), then the lists you pointed the plugin at, then everything your own library suggested, each under its own heading with the individual lists inside it. Until now they were one flat run of headings, so a list you deliberately keep sat next to a film that happened to recommend something, with nothing to tell the two apart.
• A list that was read and holds nothing you are missing now says so under its own heading instead of not appearing at all, and one that could not be read this scan says that instead, so neither reads as a list you never switched on.
• The Markdown export is grouped the same way, so an exported Discover list and the tab on screen agree.

Mind the Gaps 10.11.5.3 (beta)

Diagnose no longer reports a mix-up over a title that is not out yet. An announced movie that shares its name with one you own (the announced "Highlander" against the 1986 one on your shelf) was read as a misidentified item, because an announced title usually carries no date at all, so the year test that tells a remake from the original had nothing to compare. It now says what is actually true: the one you own is an earlier, different release and nothing needs fixing.

A scan, and clearing off what you have filled in, now read less of your library:

• Every query asks the server for only the parts it uses, so an item no longer arrives carrying its images and every user's playstate alongside it.
• The snapshot of what you own that a scan holds for its whole run keeps only what it compares against rather than the library items themselves, so a long scan no longer holds your library in memory while it waits on the providers.
• Clearing a whole heading, or verifying a long TODO list, checks your library once for the batch instead of once per row.

Nothing changes about what is found or what is cleared.

10.11.5.2 (beta)

Personal want-list sources (IMDb lists and watchlist, IMDb people lists as a filmography seed, Trakt, JustWatch, MDBList, Discogs, OpenLibrary, TheTVDB favorites), TMDB watchlist and favorites over a two-step connect, and fixes for truncated Trakt and MDBList list reads.

10.11.5.1 (beta)

10.11.5.1 - Anything you have filled in can be cleared off the report without a rescan. A refresh
control on every row and every heading (a domain, a set kind, a group, a season) checks your library right
now and drops what you already hold, and a "Clear what I have" button does the whole filtered tab at once.
This is local and immediate: no provider is contacted, and it works in every domain. Anything still missing
then offers to re-check the sources it belongs to with their providers, which also picks up whatever has
been added to a collection, discography, or bibliography since the last scan; that pass runs in the
background with progress and saves each set as it finishes. A title you have acquired leaves every tab it
appeared on at once, so one film clears out of its collection, the studio set that wanted it, its
director's filmography, and any list that suggested it. The TODO list checks the same way, with a Verify
all that ticks everything you now hold and un-ticks anything that has left the library, and both Markdown
exports check before writing, so an exported list is what you still need rather than what the last scan
believed. Titles with no release date at all are treated as not yet out: TheMovieDb and the episode
providers date anything that has actually been released, so an undated movie, series, or episode from them
is announced but unscheduled, is badged Announced, and hides under "Hide upcoming" along with announced
seasons that were never produced. Music and books are exempt, since a sparse Discogs, MusicBrainz, or
OpenLibrary entry for a decades-old release often carries no date and is a genuine gap. Whether something
counts as upcoming is now worked out afresh on every scan, so a title stops being upcoming once its release
date passes. Record label sets sort into their proper place instead of last, and book subject sets group
under Subjects rather than a heading reading Other.

10.11.5.0

10.11.5.0 - Fixes installing on a server running an earlier 10.11 patch. The plugin declares the 10.11.0.0
ABI but was built against the 10.11.11 assemblies, which stamp their own patch number, so the package asked
any server for 10.11.11 and a server on an earlier patch refused to load it. It is now built against 10.11.0
and loads on any 10.11.x server. The identification audit reports series whose episodes are split across two
folders that map to the same season, listing each folder and its episode count so you can see which one to
keep. The gaps report and the settings are separate dashboard pages now: the report opens without the
settings form attached, the plugin's Settings button opens the settings, and resetting the scan rotation and
removing minted items move to a Maintenance section on the report, beside the library they act on. Shared
report links and exported audit dossiers still open the report. In the TODO list, the source column says
what it is showing, using the same wording as the report's section buttons (the series for an episode,
Discover for a recommendation, the creator, the set), instead of a bare name that read as a wrong series
when you added a whole show, and a movie or show with no JustWatch link of its own gets a JustWatch search,
in the list and in the Markdown export.

10.11.4.2 - The gaps report and the settings are separate dashboard pages. The report opens without the

• Discovery lists (TMDB, MDBList, and Trakt): complete or explore a curated list the way you complete a collection, grouped by source in the Discover tab. A TMDB list takes a pasted themoviedb.org/list URL or a bare id, a Trakt list a numeric id or slug, MDBList a type-ahead picker.
• Curated book subjects: complete every book tagged with an OpenLibrary subject as a Books set.
• Explore a source: a Run button on the report tries any source (studio, keyword, Discogs label, or TMDB/MDBList/Trakt list) without a full scan; Clear explorations removes them again.
• Music and books are on by default, and Creator works surfaces an owned actor or director's missing series, not just their films.
• Series completeness follows your library's own providers: each series is merged across the metadata providers your Shows library uses (TheMovieDb, TheTVDB, TVmaze) season by season in your order, with your own missing-episode list as the last-chance fallback; episodes reconcile by air date and folded title, so a renumbered, reordered, or merged two-part episode is recognized as owned. The per-provider checkboxes are gone (TheTVDB still needs its key). Re-check one series without a full rescan; a partly-owned long-running show keeps its earlier and later missing seasons, and each series shows its year so a reboot is told from the original.
• Discogs completes a record label's releases and an owned artist's discography (the albums MusicBrainz misses); the artist scan follows a library Discogs id and album-level masters, so it is fast and a stray single no longer reads as a missing album.
• Diagnose and the identification audit now cover albums and books, explain an episode-numbering mismatch (a two-part or off-by-one), and offer Export for AI analysis, a Markdown dossier.
• A personal TODO list: add any gap, grouped by domain and verified against your library, with a Markdown checklist export.
• Send a missing movie or series to Radarr, Sonarr, or Jellyseerr from the report.
• Virtual placeholders for any domain: a missing series, album, or book becomes a tagged, reversible placeholder on its set, artist, or author.
• A clearer report: settings regrouped into Complete what you own and Discover new titles; every tab labelled for the media type in view (Series completion, Discography, Artist works, Author works, Discover) with the gap counts dropped; larger row titles, collapsible sections, shorter shareable links, and a fixed Markdown export filename.
• Sturdier scans: a transient provider failure mid-scan no longer blanks a collection's or discography's gaps, a multi-episode file counts across its whole span, a failed report load shows an error instead of spinning, an item mistagged with a bogus MusicBrainz id is skipped, an optional Detailed API logging toggle aids debugging, and no API key reaches the server log.

10.11.3.9 (beta)

• Discogs discography scanning is faster and more accurate: it checks only the artists your library has tagged with a Discogs id (no more guessing every artist by name) and fetches only master releases, so it no longer crawls or reports a single or promo as a missing album.
• Internal cleanup: most types are now internal, tightening the plugin's public surface so dead code stands out.
