Huge update that overhauls a large number of core components of Simpl, plus extends the functionality of the Auth add-on by a lot!

Most notable changes are:

  • Big changes to Controllers and Models, they now support things like custom routes, route aliases and api style endpoints.
  • Auth add-on now has a way better validation system and more configuration options. It also has a lockout system for login attempts and the mail system now support async mail sending.
  • A completely new default styling and logo for Simpl.
  • Vite is now used instead of Rollup, this also adds the ability to use extensions like Font Awesome as a package.
  • Added a cron script that can run different jobs like automatically deleting inactive users together with the cron command.
  • Improved logging and error handling in a lot of controllers.
  • Sass future-proofing by changing deprecated functions to new ones.
