Release list
Conduit v0.1.0
The first tagged build of Conduit — a single-binary, OpenAI-compatible AI gateway that routes by intent, learns from outcomes, and explains every decision.
This is a stable preview of the v0 gateway. The core path is implemented and tested; APIs and configuration may still change before 1.0.
Included
- OpenAI-compatible data plane: chat completions (stream and non-stream), embeddings, models, feedback
- Routing brain v0: hard constraints, utility scoring, guarded exploration with logged propensities
- Reliability path: first-token gating, retries, bounded hedging, circuit breakers, capacity governor
- Decision ledger with full candidate tables and admin search
- Versioned config API with validation and simulation
- Embedded console shell, Prometheus metrics and OTel tracing hooks
- Fault-injecting mock provider, five k6 suites, dataset tooling and release pipeline
Artifacts
Static binaries are attached for Linux and macOS on amd64 and arm64. Each archive contains the conduit binary, README.md, LICENSE and conduit.example.yaml. SHA-256 checksums are attached as checksums.txt.
The bundled example configuration targets the mock provider used by the test harness. For real traffic, point providers at your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint (or Anthropic, Ollama, vLLM) and fill in model prices and priors.
Container
No prebuilt image is attached to this release. Build the distroless image from the source:
docker build -f deploy/Dockerfile --target conduit -t conduit:0.1.0 .Or run the full mock stack with docker compose -f deploy/docker-compose.yml up -d --build.
Verifying
sha256sum --check --ignore-missing checksums.txt
./conduit version # prints 0.1.0Status notes
What is verified versus targeted is documented in docs/TESTING.md §7. The ledger and propensity logging are implemented; the full Replay Lab UI, adaptive capacity control and complete console are phased work. Route production traffic accordingly and read the design document before relying on unshipped behaviour.
