AmpCade plays NAM guitar captures on a cartoon pedalboard you arrange yourself. Standalone, VST3 and AU.

What it does

  • 16 capture pedal slots plus amp, cab and space — drag them into any order
  • Built-in Overdrive, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, EQ, boosts and Compressor
  • 8 scenes — snapshot the whole rig, switch with one key
  • Looper with overdubs, tuner, and per-pedal keyboard stomps
  • Built-in TONE3000 browser — pull captures straight into a slot
  • Share your rig as a .ampcade file

Install

macOS — open AmpCade-macOS.zip, run AmpCade-Installer.pkg. Installs the app, VST3 and AU. Signed and notarised.

Windows — unzip, run AmpCade.exe. The VST3 goes in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Not signed yet, so SmartScreen will warn — click More info → Run anyway. If the window opens blank, install the WebView2 runtime.

First run

AmpCade ships without captures. Two ways to get gear:

  • Your own files — click + ADD and import a .nam capture or a .wav/.aiff impulse response. No account needed.
  • TONE3000 — sign in under Settings → ACCOUNT with a free account, then browse and download inside the app. The two factory presets fill themselves in once you're connected.

Built-in pedals work with no captures at all.
