G1L v0.7.5 (latest revision)
Latest revision (2026-06-18). Version number unchanged at 0.7.5 - this build re-uploads
0.7.5 with the newest fixes on top of the initial build: the UE4SS nested-install fix and
Performance Lua Mod Loader support.
Version 0.7.5
New:
- Added support for Performance Lua Mod Loader (PLuaModLoader): the loader installs like any UE4SS Lua mod, and its child mods are routed into PLuaModLoader\Scripts\Mods\ instead of the top-level Mods folder.
- Added conservative support for loose game-file replacement mods: G1R\Images..., G1R\Story..., G1R\Textures..., or root Images/Story/Textures folders.
- Loose game-file mods are shown as type "File" in the mod list.
- Loose game-file mods use the managed loose-file lifecycle: originals are backed up, disabling restores the original or removes newly added files, and enabling restores the mod payload.
- Mod packs (.g1lpack) now preserve loose game-file mods with a ProjectRoot/ logical path, so packs import correctly across different game install paths.
Note:
- Please respect the work behind G1L: do not copy, modify or redistribute the launcher outside the official release pages (see the license).
Fixes:
- Update UE4SS now respects an existing experimental (nested Win64\ue4ss) install instead of forcing the flat layout, so mods that load from Win64\ue4ss\Mods keep working and no second UE4SS copy is left behind.
- Fixed .rar extraction fallback for non-solid archives when native 7-Zip is not available.
- Loose-file detection intentionally ignores protected layouts such as Binaries, Mods, Content\Paks, Content\Movies, UE4SS, pak, BP, movie, ReShade and Engine.ini layouts.
Build removed (2026-07-13). Versions 0.7.3–0.8.0 used a personal Nexus API key for update checks, which the Nexus Mods API Acceptable Use Policy does not allow in public applications. Please download the latest release instead.
